Chapter 72 was started by Korean War veterans who wanted to challenge the lies that perpetuated the violence that wasted human lives in the 1950s. They were later joined by Vietnam veterans. But as the membership aged and their health declined, the chapter became inactive, although many veterans continued to pay dues in support of the national organization, Veterans for Peace. We have reactivated Chapter 72 and are seeking veterans of all ages, service affiliation and time in service to join us in the struggle for peace. Families and friends of veterans may join as associate members. The group meets monthly and needs committee members to provide support for chapter operations, participation in events and informational campaigns designed to show that those who have seen war can help end war. We welcome you and hope you will join us.
